Food Truck Mania

Buttermilk Truck's Chicken & Waffles
There's a valid reason why the Nouveau Food Truck craze in America is out of control:  It's an adventure just to find the truck you seek, and when you find it, you're blown away by the menue, the competition is fierce, the food is remarkable and inventive, and we foodies are always looking for something to brag about:  WE FOUND THE FOOD TRUCK, and YES, it ROCKED!  I'll give you their links.

1) FINDING THE TRUCK:  The only way to find these mobile food fests is if you follow them on Twitter or following them on Facebook.  Some trucks move around a lot, some are only around bars and clubs after they let out, and some are found at semi-permanent spots.  Your tried-and-true reliable home away from home.
2) KNOW THE MENU: For me, part of the quest is finding the truck, but the other part is the reward: a very specific specialty item on the menu.  If you know EXACTLY what you're after, it makes finding the truck just that much more rewarding.  Also, prepare to eat more than just one item.  I mean you came all this way and you're only eating one taco!  What's wrong with you?

3) EXPECT A LINE:  Most of the trucks in this list have a huge following, because they are the best of the best, and depending on their location and the time of day, you'll have to wait anywhere from five minutes to thirty for your dish.  Some trucks with very specific items, like the Buttermilk Truck's Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Pancake Bites, and you have to accept the fact that they are now treated like a tourist destination.  Be patient, because your reward is worth it! Trust me!
