5 Los Angeles Hot Spots to Celebrate New Year's Eve

Los Angeles has a lot to offer for celebrating New Year's Eve, and listed below are five options.  Some are appropriate for the family and some not.  Listed below are: The Edison in downtown, Universal City Walk in North Hollywood, The Pike in Long Beach, Cleopatra's Ball at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and Ice Skating in Woodland Hills.

THE EDISON
On any given evening The Edison is one of my favorite LA spots so celebrating New Year’s Eve here is a great idea.
General Admission is $75, which includes a Midnight Champagne Toast and great desserts.  Or, if you have more than three friends, get a table for $300 which includes better champagne, a Copper Clad Bottle of Beau Joie, and deserts.

UNIVERSAL CITY WALK
If you don’t drink, love fireworks, crowds, and want to hang out with LA locals and German tourists to celebrate the New Year, then Universal is for you!

My suggestion is to buy a VIP Nighttime Party Pass for $19.99 (online or at Universal Store) and have free cover and priority entrance at Jillian’s Hi-Life Lanes, Rumba Room, BB Kings Blues Club, Howl at the Moon, and Saddle Ranch Chop House.  You also receive two free drink tickets and a free bull ride at Saddle Ranch and a $5 game card at Jillian’s Lanes.

PARKING – Will be Expensive, so I suggest parking at the Universal Metro Station and walking up to Citywalk
